Team Building is an important aspect to ensure team unity and camaraderie and so in true Barbarian style, the team entered this year’s Virgin Active Warrior Race ‘Die Bosveld’ in Pretoria on Saturday, 28 October 2023.

The team had the privilege of carrying a race spectator for another team consisting of a Bride-to-be and her bridesmaids some 500m from the parking to the actual event. What a warm up and in the sweltering heat of 30+ amongst the koppies of Pretoria North!

Tonie van Benoni, Aquaman, Jack, Alex the Lion and Liam (a ‘Mini-Me’ stand-in for 1 John who chickened out at the last moment) enjoyed the challenge and completed the course despite a number of setbacks along the way!
